Ateljé von Swetlik has served as a museum dedicated to the art of Georges von Swetlik since 2023. The museum’s collection includes hundreds of artworks as well as an extensive archive containing Georges von Swetlik’s memoirs and genealogical research.
The artist Georges von Swetlik was a visionary who never allowed himself to be limited – neither in his painting nor in the creation of his unique studio home.
In 1975, he began the realization of his lifelong dream in Snappertuna, only 7 km from Ekenäs.
His uncompromising creative power meant that the house was never completed during his lifetime. Today, von Swetlik’s granddaughter, Teresa Munsterhjelm, is completing his life’s work.
